Long Wait Is Finally Over

    In Ilocos Sur National High School, the celebration of high school day is one of the most awaited days by students, staff, and even school administrators the reason why they are looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was suspended together with the face-to-face classes the past 2 school years. Last March 25, 2023, they were ecstatic to see the come back of high school day after a two-year suspension. Many were glad that the long long wait was finally over.


    The whole event was full of smiles and laighters by the people who came to participate the day. Students enjoyed each part of the event. The mass of thanksgiving took place first as students and school staffs and administrators listened carefully and attentively to what were saying in front and gave respect to the one preaching. It was a mass expressing the gratitude for the impending occasion, which many people have been hoping and longing for. The program was done after the mass. There was a performance in which selected students from grades 7 to 10 performed the Galaw Pilipinas in the field. Some of the grade 10 students also performed at the intermission of the program. Of course, a program would not be complete without a motivational speech by a professional individual. The learnings were absorbed by the dear listeners as they will surely apply the learning they had learned for future encounters.



    To sum it up, students and teachers really did exert genuine efforts and did the best that they could to welcome the said event. They enthusiastically helped one another to make the high school day the best just how everyone expected it to be full of fun and excitement. Everyone who attended the day had a great time and it was enough to pay off the very long wait of many to this event. It was worth the wait, indeed.
