Small acts of Kindness and Appreciation

Can you imagine how the world is if no one is working for our country? What if nobody works hard enough to improve the nation for future generations? If that's the case, the country could never survive on its own. If no one has the tender heart to strive for us all to achieve the betterment of the country that Filipinos have been dreaming of for a long time now, Filipinos will be the ones to suffer.

Labor Day in the Philippines is a public holiday every May 1 to celebrate the Filipino workers. It is a chance to remember hard-won workers’ rights. It is also a day dedicated for our hardworking fellow Filipinos. In addition, it is a reminder to all of us to honor this day for them as they had sacrificed a lot just for the betterment of our beloved country. Moveover, it celebrates those who have fought for better working conditions. They are the reasons why the country is still striving and standing steady amidst the different disasters that the country is experiencing for the recent years. So it is only right that we spend this important day with our loved ones while reminding them of the improvements they brought to our nation and showing our gratitude for all they did by conducting small acts of kindness and appreciation.

To sum it up, we should value and appreciate those hardworking Filipinos regardless of what type of job he or she has as long as that person contributed to the better change. Aiming for the betterment of the country is the first step to achieve the prospirity we want for our country. Each job is indeed important and significant. One of the reasons why job is important is it is for a sense of purpose since it can provide goals to work toward each day. Having a job can benefit not only yourself as it supports you financially but also for the improvement of the country. Therefore, job is necessary if we want to have better lives to live on and happier country for the current and next generations. Salute for all diligent Filipino workers!
