Worthwhile Moments

    Breeze is getting colder and colder each day. Children are starting to sing Christmas songs almost every night and everyday. These facts made me realized that Christmas Day is indeed getting nearer and nearer each passing day.

    I feel like nervously going to school just happened yesterday, but it is not because our Christmas Party is what really happened yesterday. I did not notice how time flies so fast until everything that happened happened. I can still remember myself talking with my classmates wishing for the clock to rotate quickly so that we could sleep from those sleepless activities we had to finish. I can still remember how we planned for the Christmas Party by staying until 6 pm at school just to finish everything that has to be finished before our Christmas Party comes. We wanted to make that day special and memorable because we engraved in our minds that this school year will be our last year as Junior High School students and as Special Mathematics students. The reason why we really did exert an effort preparing for that day to come. We contributed for the betternent of our classroom so that we could celebrate the Christmas party in a better place. We also bought Christmas decorations for us to feel that Christmas Day is indeed coming. Lastly, we listed the best and fun games for us all. 

    We were glad that each of us participated in the game and the policy 'no cellphones allowed during the program' was followed by all of us. All the efforts and sacrifices paid off the moment we saw the sparks of happiness in their eyes as we all enjoyed every moment of the program. Everything is indeed worth it. Surely, our goal to make the day memorable and special came true as we brought home not only the many gifts we received from our beloved classmates, and friend, but also, the worthwhile memories that only dear Martinelli's shared during that day.
