There is a woman, a woman whose somebody's hero as she saved a child from the moment the child was born; she welcomed her and introduced her to the world with all the love and and tender care she has to offer. That woman has been sacrificing a lot just to provide her child's necessities. But a kiss, a sweet smile and a wonderful hug are all she needs. That woman is a mother, my mother. Happy mother's Day to all the mothers out there.
Everyone celebrated the Mother's Day. In my case, I did not have the chance to celebrate mother's day with my mother personally since she is working abroad, but I greeted her a Happy Mother's Day as I believe that she deserves to hear it for all the efforts and just everything she has done. Going back, we went to church this morning to give thanks to Him, then we ate in a simple restaurant as we also celebrated another celebration today. Coincidentally, it is my papa's birthday today.
At night, we had a videoke session with my family. We sang a song with all our hearts dedicating them to our dear mothers. Lastly, around 11 pm, I called my mother through video call in this app called Botim. It is my new discovered app; my mother introduced it to me.
In conclusion, it was a happy day as I spent this special day with my loved ones. Even though I am not with my mother as of the moment, we managed to celebrate this day virtually. And I can say that I am very glad with that and I feel the feeling of contentment inside because of the love she has been giving me. I just wish for the next mother's day to finally celebrate it with her in person.
